Domestic Orders

Our Philosophy on Returns

At Mrida, every saree is a story—lovingly handwoven by skilled artisans, over days and sometimes weeks. These are not mass-produced garments, but delicate works of craft. As such, we do not offer standard returns or exchanges. We hope you understand that the nature of handcrafted work deserves a different lens—one of respect, not rejection.

Exceptions – Damaged in Transit

We will gladly assist you if your saree arrives visibly damaged. To be eligible, damage must be due to transit and show clear signs like tears, snags, or stains. Please note: natural irregularities in weave, slight misalignments, or tiny imperfections are part of the handloom charm and not considered defects.

Video Proof Is Mandatory

To file a return claim:

  • Email us at hello@mrida.co or WhatsApp us on +91-70217-70818 within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Share a clear video of the damaged area(s) — this helps us verify the concern and take swift action.

Unboxing Tip

We recommend recording a video while unboxing your order. It’s a simple way to protect your purchase and helps us if there's ever an issue.

International Orders

Shipping & Duties

Shipping costs vary based on weight, value, and destination. You’ll receive an exact quote before dispatch. Any customs, VAT, or import duties applicable in your country are your responsibility. From July 1, 2021, VAT is applicable on all shipments to the EU.

Delivery Timelines

Expect delivery within 10–15 working days, unless otherwise mentioned.

Address Changes

Need to make changes after placing your order? Reach out to us at hello@mrida.co or on WhatsApp within 2 hours of purchase.

Returns & Refunds

As with domestic orders, international purchases are non-returnable, unless damaged during transit. Handloom sarees are delicate and deeply effort-driven. Routine returns aren’t feasible, and we appreciate your understanding.

To Initiate a Return for Damaged Products

  • Email or WhatsApp us with the subject line “Refund/Return Query”

Include the following:

  • Order number and name

  • Reason for return

  • Video showing the damage

We’ll respond within 2–3 business days and offer:

  • Mrida Credits (valid for future use)

OR

  • Full Refund to your original payment mode (within 7–10 working days)

Order Cancellations

Free Within 24 Hours

Change of mind? No problem. You may cancel within 24 hours of placing your order at no cost.

Post 24 Hours

As each saree is already in the process of being prepared, a 30% cancellation fee will apply after this window.

Cancellations from Our Side

In very rare cases where we need to cancel your order, we will process a full refund and notify you immediately.

COD Orders

We confirm COD orders via WhatsApp and phone. If confirmation isn’t received within 48 hours, the order will be auto-cancelled.
